Gonzalo Quesada has confirmed Italy’s roster for the November Internationals. Quesada’s Italy take-on Australia, South Africa and Chile in home matches. All four will play at Rugby World Cup 2027 and the matches are the last opportunity for teams to improve their ranking before the draw for the World Cup in December.
The squad included uncapped players Edoardo Todaro (Northampton Saints), Enoch Opoku Gyamfi (Bath) and Damiano Mazza (Zebre Parma). In addition, Lorenzo Pani returns to the roster following injury while Paolo Garbisi and Tommaso Allan are back after having been rested for the July Internationals. , rested during the last international window, return alongside Federico Ruzza, Michele Lamaro, Juan Ignacio Brex, Martin Page-Relo, and Ange Capuozzo.
Italy’s match against Chile will officially open international competition between the countries. Both Italy and Chile are coached by neutrals. Quesada is from Argentina while Pablo Lemoine is from Uruguay. Both played at Rugby World Cups 1999 and 2003.
Quesada’s Italian roster for November includes Argentines Pablo Dimcheff and Juan Ignacio Brex. Fellow Argentine Ivan Nemer is unavailable through injury.
