The Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic will embark on an international tour this January as part of a multi-pronged NBA European slate.
The Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic will bring a whole new meaning to traveling this NBA season.
The Association revealed plans to engage in a three-year European series on Wednesday, one that will tip off with a couple of games between Memphis and Orlando. Part one will be staged on Thursday, Jan. 15, in Berlin, Germany’s Uber Arena, with a rematch moving to The O2 in London, England, three days later.
Europe, get ready! ✈️🌍
The NBA will host SIX regular-season games in Europe over the next three years, with games to come in Berlin and London (2026), Manchester and Paris (2027) and Berlin and Paris (2028).

The British get a return date in 2027, which will also add Accor Arena in Paris to the fold. The latter game in England will be staged at Co-Op Live in Manchester. Paris and Berlin get the honors once more to close things out in 2028.
“Announcing the next three season’s regular-season games in Europe reflects the incredible momentum and appetite for NBA basketball in France, Germany, the UK and across the region,” NBA managing director of European and Middle Eastern affairs George Aivazoglou said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming the Grizzlies and the Magic to Berlin and London and to engaging fans, players and the local communities through the games and the surrounding events.”
NBA Returns to Berlin & London in 2026
Germany, the home of sibling Magic stars Franz and Mortiz Wagner, has previously hosted three preseason games, including two in Berlin. London, on the other hand, gets its first NBA regular season action since 2019, when the Washington Wizards narrowly defeated the New York Knicks 101-100 at The O2. It’ll be the 10th regular season game held in London, the first couple being a pair of showdowns between the New Jersey Nets and Toronto Raptors.
Memphis and Orlando are coming off first-round defeats in their respective conference’s playoffs but each is packed to the brim with talent. Orlando features the Wagners teaming up with Paolo Banchero while Memphis carries All-Stars Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant. The two recently engaged in high-profile business this offseason, as Orlando acquired Desmond Bane in a trade that moved four unprotected first-round picks to Memphis.
The matchups between the Grizzlies and Magic will be the second and third regular season games held internationally this season, as the Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons will square off in Mexico City on Nov. 1. Preseason games will also be held in Abu Dhabi (New York-Philadelphia) and Macau (Brooklyn-Phoenix).
