Harley Cameron Explains Puppet Moné’s AEW TV Absence

by

Harley Cameron is setting the record straight about her fan-favorite Puppet Moné—and why the wildly popular puppet hasn’t been seen on television in recent months.

In a new interview with TMZ’s Inside the Ring on January 27, 2026, Cameron confirmed that the puppet’s absence isn’t due to any backstage reason or Tony Khan shutting it down—in fact, the AEW boss has been totally on board with her creative vision.

“Tony Khan has been nothing but supportive and encouraging of all the crazy, various things that I do that a lot of people probably never thought would go into wrestling,” Cameron said. “No one is holding anything back. If anything, I’ve been allowed to showcase everything because of him, and because of his blessing and his creative ideas with the directions we’ve gone in the work and the storyline.”

The real reason for the puppet’s break? Timing and restraint. And for those worried the puppet is gone for good, Cameron gave one more promise.

“I think it’s important not to overdo it,” Cameron explained. “Things come and go, and it’s definitely not over in terms of what I can do. But it’s really important to remember that wrestling is the focus, and then I can add these other fun, quirky things as long as they fit into the show. They’re definitely not gone. You just have to be patient, because good things come when we wait.”

Cameron originally introduced Puppet Moné during her feud with Mercedes Moné in early 2025—a character she created herself, even building it from a base she bought on Amazon. The puppet quickly gained traction with AEW fans and became one of the most talked-about parts of her presentation.

With her mix of creativity and timing, Harley Cameron is keeping Puppet Moné on standby—and according to her, the puppet’s comeback could hit when fans least expect it.
