Highlights! Top Prospect Crushes Tyson Nam

by

A late addition to the 2025 Knockout of the Year conversation has officially arrived.

Top prospect Abdul Hussein may have punched his ticket to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) after brutally knocking former UFC Flyweight Tyson Nam unconscious in the main event of Ice Cage Fighting (IFC) 6 on Fri., Dec. 26, 2025, inside Espoo Metro Areena in Espoo, Finland.

The fight was competitive early, with both men clearly hunting for a finish β€” but Hussein only needed one opening. At the 4:22 mark of the opening round, the 28-year-old uncorked a perfectly-timed right hand that flattened Nam instantly.

Check out the finish below:

Hussein (15-2) has looked UFC-ready for some time now, yet continues to dominate on the regional scene. His last loss came back in 2021 against Muhammad Mokaev, and since then, he’s rattled off eight straight wins β€” plus a professional boxing bout for good measure.

The Finnish standout boasts a ridiculous 93 percent finish rate, with nine submissions and five knockouts on his rΓ©sumΓ©.

If this highlight-reel KO doesn’t earn him an immediate UFC call-up, expect Hussein to land on Contender Series in 2026.

As for Nam (23-15-1), the former UFC veteran was attempting to fight his way back to the promotion following a controversial split decision loss to Azat Maksum. He entered IFC 6 on a four-fight knockout streak, including a violent finish of Ricky Bandejas at Dirty Boxing 3 (watch highlights) β€” but this time, he ran into a buzzsaw.
