Newcastle Red Bulls have signed Blues number eight Hoskins Sotutu on a three-year deal for next season.
The 27-year-old has been capped 14 times by New Zealand but could switch his national allegiance to England, who he qualifies for through his mother.
Newcastle rebranded from Falcons to Red Bulls in the off-season after a takeover but have lost all seven of their Prem games so far this campaign.
