The Oregon Ducks‘ immense talent and depth has been on full display all season long, with a number of contributors standing out at nearly every position group on the roster. As what happens in this day of college football, players transfer out and find other programs where they can receive more play time.
Just this week, Ducks cornerback Jahlil Florence, a four-star recruit in the 2022 class, announced his intentions of entering the transfer portal. Florence was a key piece of Oregon’s secondary in 2023, recording 27 total tackles, one pass defensed, a sack and an interception. An injury cost him the 2024 season, while the emergence of true freshman cornerback Brandon Finney Jr. played a part in Florence seeing little time this season.

Now, the talented cover man will look to excel at another program next season.
Several Ducks have been in that same position in the past, with others simply jumping them on the depth chart and leaving them looking for more play time elsewhere.
With Week 10 in the books, let’s check out those former Ducks that contributed at their respective programs around the country.
