The UFC is in Texas this week for its annual Mexican Independence Day celebration, which takes place in San Antonio.

Here’s how to watch UFC Fight Night 259 with 145-pound contenders in the headlining spot.

UFC Fight Night 259 has a main card that streams at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The preliminary card streams on ESPN+ at 3 p.m. ET.

Main event: Diego Lopes

  • Record: 26-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC
  • Opponent: Jean Silva (16-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC)
  • Division: Featherweight
  • Key wins: Brian Ortega, Dan Ige, Sodiq Yusuff
  • Misc.: Lopes will be trying to get back on track after a decision loss for the vacant featherweight title to Alexander Volkanovski in the UFC 314 main event in April. That Fight of the Night setback snapped a five-fight winning streak. 

Main event: Jean Silva

  • Record: 16-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC
  • Opponent: Diego Lopes (26-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC)
  • Division: Featherweight
  • Key wins: Bryce Mitchell, Drew Dober, Charles Jourdain
  • Misc.: Fighting Nerds standout will be hoping to help the whole team rebound from main and co-main event losses in Paris. The Brazilian has 13 straight wins, including all five of his UFC victories by stoppage. The most recent three have been for bonuses, including a no doubt highly satisfying beatdown of professed nazi sympathizer Bryce Mitchell. 

Co-main event: Rob Font

  • Record: 22-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC
  • Opponent: David Martinez (12-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC)
  • Division: Bantamweight
  • Key wins: Cody Garbrandt, Marlon Moraes, Ricky Simon, Sergio Pettis
  • Misc.: It’s a shift from Raul Rosas Jr. for Font to short-notice replacement Martinez. The longtime UFC fighter has back-to-back decision wins to get back on track after a stretch of four losses in five fights. 

Co-main event: David Martinez

  • Record: 12-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC
  • Opponent: Rob Font (22-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC)
  • Division: Bantamweight
  • Key wins: Saimon Oliveira
  • Misc.: Mexico’s Martinez has eight straight wins, including a bonus-winning knockout of Saimon Oliveira in his UFC debut in March. Ten of his 12 wins are by knockout.

UFC debut: Santiago Luna

  • Record: 6-0
  • Opponent: Quang Le (9-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC)
  • Division: Bantamweight
  • Misc.: 21-year-old teammate of Brandon Moreno and crew at Entram MMA in Tijuana, Luna has all six of his wins by stoppage.

  • Opponent: Alessandro Costa (14-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC)

  • Misc.: Teammate of the likes of Joshua Van and Daniel Pineda, Coria has eight of his 10 wins by stoppage. 

UFC debut: Alice Pereira

  • Record: 5-0
  • Opponent: Montserrat Rendon (6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC)
  • Division: Women’s bantamweight
  • Misc.: Pereira will become the youngest women’s fighter in UFC history when she steps in the cage. After a Cage Masters title, the 19-year-old challenged the UFC to bring her on, and now she has her shot. 

UFC debut: Daniil Donchenko

  • Record: 11-2
  • Opponent: Rodrigo Sezinando (8-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC)
  • Division: Welterweight
  • Misc.: Highly touted 24-year-old Ukrainian makes his way to the UFC with nine stoppages in his 11 wins.

  • Opponent: Daniil Donchenko (11-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC)
  • Division: Welterweight
  • Misc.: Brazilian regional champion has seven of his eight wins by stoppage.
