The Nebraska men’s basketball team returns to action on Tuesday night when it welcomes Maryland-Eastern Shore to Pinnacle Bank Arena. Nebraska enters the week with Division I’s longest winning streak at six games following Saturday’s win over Florida International.
UMES is 1-2 on the season and will play seven of its first eight games on the road. The Hawks, picked to finish seventh in the MEAC preseason poll, are led by forward Christopher Flippin, who was a preseason MEAC all-conference selection.

The Hawks are coached by Clea Hill Jr., in his second year at the helm of the program. Hill began his coaching career in Lincoln as an assistant coach on Danny Nee‘s staff during the 1998-99 season.
Nebraska is 3-0 all-time against UMES, with wins in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The Huskers are 15-0 all-time against the current members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
