Big, big game for BYU Football Saturday morning as they take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Arlington, TX with a Big 12 Title (and a spot in the College Football Playoff) on the line.
The BYU Cougars ended the regular season with an 11-1 record, that one loss coming at the hands of Texas Tech. BYU was 8-1 in conference play. They played their last game a week ago at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo against the UCF Knights. BYU came out victorious, winning by a final score of 41-21.

Texas Tech also ended the regular season with an 11-1 record, 8-1 in conference. The Red Raiders lost at Arizona State back on Oct. 18 by a final score of 26-22. The Red Raiders finished the season at West Virginia one week ago, defeating the Mountaineers by a final score of 49-0.
It was a poor showing from BYU, and a stellar one from Texas Tech the last time the two teams met on Nov. 8 in Lubbock. The final score was Texas Tech, 29, BYU, 7. The Cougars are no. 11 in the AP Poll and CFP Rankings, while Texas Tech is no. 5 in the AP Poll, no. 4 in the CFP Rankings.
Saturday morning will be the fourth time that BYU and Texas Tech have met, historically, with Tech having the. 2-1 edge. It will be the first game the teams have played at a neutral site. Arlington is about a 5 hour drive from the Red Raiders’ hometown of Lubbock.
