The Connecticut Sun (11-32) fell to the Atlanta Dream (29-14) 87-62 Sept. 8 after being outscored 42-19 in the second half.
Despite the loss, the Sun had three players in double-digits. Rookies Saniya Rivers and Aneesah Morrow were Connecticut’s leading scorers, with 16 and 13 points respectively. UConn alum and Sun center Tina Charles also contributed 12 points.

Morrow was also the only player in the contest Sept. 8 with double-digit rebounds, as she had 14. The player with the second-most rebounds in that game was Atlanta’s Allisha Gray, who had six.
