It didn’t take long for those who have Notre Dame Football living rent free in their heads to start flipping out about the 2026 schedule. It’s low hanging fruit for sure, but it’s still fruit. Notre Dame is not playing the toughest schedule in the country in 2026, and that makes its many detractors pretty upset.
There are, of course, many different ways to debate those that want to trash the Irish (if that’s something you’re interested in) but there is no debating the schedule isn’t very sexy (especially with a trip to the Mormon side of Utah). Yes, the Irish have four rivalry trophy games — but none of those involve the USC Trojans.

CHANGE THE 2026 NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL SCHEDULE…
I want you to change the Irish schedule this year to make it more to your liking with one simple adjustment. If we get enough of them, I’ll set up a poll for a showdown (neato gang). There are just a few rules:

Replace ONE game. That game, however, can’t be any of the ACC opponents or Navy.

A P4 game must be replaced with another P4 opponent.

A G6 game must be replaced with another G6 opponent.

Michigan, USC, and Ohio State are NOT available.
So go ahead. make that one change (big or small) that would make 2026 a little more palatable to the eyes.
