When one of my coworkers first laid eyes on the new Hurley x Levelwear collaboration, he quickly exclaimed, “This seems like it fits your style.”
Damn right it does.
I don’t have “fan of patterned polos” in my Instagram bio for no reason!
Your opinions be damned. I love a good Hawaiian print (see my custom Vessel bag) and I love a good polo. Hurley and Levelwear teamed up for a tasteful, yet fun, take on the typical tropical threads that I can’t get enough of.
The collaboration comes at the perfect time, too. A time when golf is becoming increasingly trendy among both the surf and skate communities, athletes that Hurley has been serving for decades.
If anything, it’s a sign of the times as well as a sign of things to come. Golf culture is no longer synonymous with pleated pants and cotton polos. It’s become an intersection of many sports, ideas and styles, not the least of which have been molded by brands like Hurley.
And I think that’s pretty cool.
