Miami, which is 15-2 in its first year under Jai Lucas, will unveil a banner to honor Larrañaga, who is the winningest coach in the program’s history. Larrañaga went 274-174 in more than 13 seasons at UM. He took the Hurricanes to the Final Four for the first time in 2023 after an Elite Eight run in 2022. He took Miami to the NCAA Tournament six times in his 14-year tenure. Larrañaga retired during the 2024-25 season.

The first 4,000 fans to arrive for the FSU game, which tips off at 7 p.m., will receive a commemorative mini banner. There will be in-game programming from former players and complimentary “angel food” smoothies from Smoothie King, which Larrañaga has said is his favorite.

The Hurricanes, who are 11-6 in their second season under Tricia Cullop, will also unveil a banner for Meier at her pregame ceremony before UM’s 8 p.m. tip-off vs. Duke. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a mini banner. There will also be in-game messages from former players and trivia.

Meier went 365–236 in 19 seasons as the Hurricanes’ coach, leading Miami to 10 NCAA Tournament appearances. In 2023, she and the Hurricanes reached the Elite Eight for the first time in program history.
