On Wednesday, the Indiana Fever released their 2026 WNBA schedule, featuring notable dates against marquee opponents in a 44-game schedule.
The Caitlin Clark-led Fever will begin the 2026 regular-season slate with their home-opener against 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on May 9.

Now a 15-team league, the Fever will host the Portland Fire on May 20 and travel to the City of Roses twice on May 30 and then on July 31. Indiana hosts the league’s other new franchise, the Toronto Tempo, on July 16. The Fever travel north of the border for matchups against the Tempo on July 18 and on Aug. 18.
Indiana will take on the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces three times this season, with the first two meetings occurring from Sin City on July 5 and July 12, before the Fever host the Aces on Aug. 6.
Like 2025, the Fever close the 2026 WNBA regular season in Minneapolis, Minn., as part of the back end of a home-and-home against the Minnesota Lynx on Sept. 24.

While free-agency signings, expansion draft departures, and other roster management moves will certainly alter how each franchise looks between late January and the start of the 2026 season, Fever fans will undoubtedly be eager to cheer on the team to a potential championship campaign come opening tipoff in May.
While exciting, the 2026 WNBA season remains in flux for the time being. The WNBA and WNBPA are still in the midst of collective bargaining negotiations.
