Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese both ended their second WNBA seasons on a disappointing note, despite earning their second All-Star selections. Clark missed most of the season and the playoffs due to injury, watching Aliyah Boston lead the Indiana Fever to the semifinals. Reese and the Chicago Sky, meanwhile, failed to reach the postseason for the second straight year.
Still, both young stars remain arguably the two most popular and influential players in the league, breaking numerous records on and off the court. Reese even made her runway debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, while Clark’s senior season at Iowa was featured prominently in the docuseries “Full Court Press.”

In a recent episode of “Post Moves,” Boston’s podcast with Candace Parker, the two stars discussed the idea of a WNBA documentary similar to the NBA’s “Starting 5,” a Netflix original that takes fans behind the scenes with several players from the past two seasons, including Boston Celtics stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
When Parker asked Boston who she would include in the cast for a hypothetical WNBA version, the former South Carolina star named Clark and Reese, along with Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson, Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier and herself.

“AB,” Boston said. “Caitlin, A’ja, Angel and Phee.”
Parker agreed with Boston’s choice of five, but also offered New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart and Phoenix Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas as potential options.
The Fever are set for major changes this offseason, with only Clark, Boston and Makayla Timpson under contract for 2026. While two core players are expected to return, key contributors like Kelsey Mitchell and Sophie Cunningham are set to become free agents.
