Indiana men’s basketball has landed a commitment from Chase Branham, a 4-star guard in the class of 2026, according to On3/Rivals’ Joe Tipton.
Branham is listed as a shooting guard by Rivals and as a point guard by 247Sports. He ranks in as Rivals’ 12th highest-rated shooting guard and 42nd highest-rated prospect overall. 247Sports’ composite rating ranks him as the 9th highest-rated point guard and 43rd highest-rated prospect overall.

He joins Prince-Alexander Moody in the Hoosiers’ class of 2026, choosing Indiana over programs such as Tennessee, Missouri and Big Ten rivals Purdue and Iowa. He was originally set to visit the Hawkeyes in October, which could obviously change given his commitment.
Branham is currently on an official visit to Bloomington with Indiana football set to take on Illinois on Saturday evening. He’s joined in doing so by 5-star center Ethan Taylor, another priority Hoosiers target in the class of 2026.
It’s become clear that DeVries will take the program in a different direction stylistically than Indiana’s previous two head coaches. Landing two guards as his first two high school commitments should make that even more obvious.
