Initial availability report revealed for Alabama vs. LSU in Week 11

On Wednesday night, the initial SEC Availability Report was officially revealed for the Week 11 showdown between the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers.

A pair of SEC powers, Alabama and LSU enter this matchup as two teams heading in opposite directions, with the Crimson Tide the lone team in the College Football Playoff hunt. The Tigers come to Tuscaloosa unranked, and in Week 11, will be playing their first game under interim head coach Frank Wilson.

However, the Tigers will come to Tuscaloosa without some players available, while both the Tigers and Crimson Tide have some significant injuries to monitor leading up to kickoff.

Following the initial outlook at which players will miss Alabama vs. LSU, as of Wednesday night, Nov. 5.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. LSU Tigers Week 11 Availability Report

Alabama:

  • Qua Russaw, Linebacker – Out

  • Jah-Marien Latham, Linebacker – Out

  • Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., Defensive Back – Out

  • Cayden Jones, Linebacker – Out

  • Jeremiah Beaman, Defensive Line – Out

  • Danny Lewis Jr., Tight End – Questionable

  • Ryan Williams, Wide Receiver – Probable

LSU:

  • Gabriel Reliford, Defensive End – Out

  • Tyree Adams, Offensive Line – Out

  • Zach Weeks, Linebacker – Doubtful

  • Whit Weeks, Linebacker – Questionable

  • Carius Curne, Offensive Line – Probable

For Alabama, the biggest injury to monitor going into Saturday is starting wide receiver Ryan Williams, who carries a “probable” tag, as of Wednesday night. The sophomore ranks second for Alabama in receiving this season, hauling in 33 receptions for 495 yards and three touchdowns.

Danny Lewis Jr., a tight end, is also listed as “questionable” for the LSU game. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer previously updated the status of Lewis earlier in the week.

As for LSU, undoubtedly the biggest injury to monitor going into Saturday is Whit Weeks, one of the top linebackers in the SEC. Weeks, who is listed as “questionable” has 29 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and one sack this season, and has not played since Week 7.
