Inside USA Artistic Swimming’s Plans for the Swim Jet

USA Artistic Swimming has partnered with aquatic innovators iGarden, unveiling the Swim Jet P Series—a cutting-edge solution designed to transform pools into elite-level training environments.

The announcement in LA last week featured national team athletes (video) including CEO Adam Andrasko, Coach Lara Teixeria, and Olympians like Daniella Ramirez and Lenny Krayzelburg. It marked iGarden as the Official Sponsor and Exclusive Robotic Pool Cleaner Partner of USA Artistic Swimming, spotlighting immersive tech innovation.

The highlight of the partnership is the Swim Jet P Series, which turns an ordinary backyard pool into a space where athletes can warm up, recover, or push through resistance training. With simple presets, the jet can create calm water for figures or powerful currents for endurance to give coaches and athletes flexibility at the touch of a button.

How does The Swim Jet help USA Artistic Swimming?

  • Performance Meets Accessibility  Swim jets enable athletes to train with resistance and precision at any facility

  • Tech-Forward Momentum mirrors trends of other NGBs tapping into tech (streaming, analytics, smart gear)

  • Amplifying Impact Ahead of LA28: Strengthens USA Artistic Swimming’s performance profile as Olympic aspirations build — following their unprecedented silver-medal podium finish in Paris.

Alongside it, the K Pro 150 Robotic Cleaner supports training and competition readiness by keeping pools clear from walls to waterline. Its automated runs reduce the need for manual upkeep, helping teams focus on performance instead of maintenance.

When USA Artistic Swimming’s coaches first tried out the Swim Jet, they immediately started imagining how it could become part of their daily training environment. One of the first uses will be in warm-ups, where the resistance generated by the current can help athletes prepare their bodies while sharpening performance.

Just as important, the jet can do the opposite — with a quick shift to “Free Mode”, the water becomes perfectly still. That glass-flat surface is critical for figures and precision work, and it also doubles as a way to create a calm environment for recovery after intense training.

To make sure the jet is used effectively, USA Artistic Swimming is rolling out comprehensive training for both coaches and athletes. Safety, operation, and proper setup are all part of the plan, ensuring the technology enhances the sport without adding complexity. Coaches say they’ll be watching for athlete satisfaction, seeing how the jet contributes to an elevated training environment where swimmers feel supported and challenged.
