Interesting theories behind the Alcaraz-Ferrero split

by

The split between the world number 1 and his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero has sparked an avalanche of reactions and speculation. This is a part of the season in which Carlos Alcaraz was expected to be working hard with the desire to achieve his best result at the Australian Open early next year.

However, the 22-year-old surprised the public by confirming via social media that he had parted ways with his long-time coach.

Several speculations have caught the eye of fans, and we will highlight just a few of them.

One theory is that Carlos Alcaraz and Juan Carlos Ferrero did not have successful contract negotiations.

Spanish tennis expert Javier de Diego pointed out that the main reason for their separation lies in the new contract.

It seems that the famous tennis player and his coach had different views.

Second theory

Another interesting theory is that the entourage played an important role in this story.

Kiko Navarro, the first coach the Spaniard worked with, reveals that Carlos was always protective towards the coaches, but also that the entourage played an important role in this story. The idea that the Spaniard had little influence on the decision to leave is still surprising for many, but it is obvious that there are some figures who advise Alcaraz and help him with important decisions.

"It was more from the environment than from the player; Carlitos is very protective of his coaches. He was with me, and I know he was with Juan Carlos, but there comes a moment when due to reasons not related to him or sports, they have made this decision. Juan Carlos has done a spectacular job; I worked with him for two years, and there is little to blame him for. The people who made the decision, which is not Carlitos, will have their reasons which I don't know now."- Navarro said.

Alcaraz's father

One of the theories is also that Alcaraz's father played an important role in the split, given that, judging by the writings, Carlos Alcaraz Gonzalez has serious authority and manages his son's career.

CLAY magazine believes that Alcaraz's father and Ferrero did not share the same vision for the Spaniard's future.

There are several more theories circulating on the Internet, but it seems that we will not get a real answer anytime soon.

Carlos Alcaraz is still grateful to Ferrero for everything he has given him, aware that he was an important wheel in his career.

After these speculations, there is now speculation about who could succeed Ferrero, and there are several candidates, but whoever comes, he will have an interesting task ahead of him, a great responsibility, but also a great honor.
