Iowa basketball (12-3, 2-2 Big Ten) returns home to Carver-Hawkeye Arena for a big Sunday clash against No. 16 Illinois (12-3, 3-1 Big Ten).
The Hawkeyes are looking to rebound from a 70-67 loss at Minnesota (10-6, 3-2 Big Ten) from earlier this week.

But, No. 19 Iowa may be without starting forward Tavion Banks. In its game day availability report, Banks is listed as questionable. Banks was seen participating in the Hawkeyes’ pregame warmups, so it appears that Banks is at least attempting to play against the Illini.
Banks has started all 15 games for Iowa this season and the 6-foot-7 wing is Iowa’s second-leading scorer, averaging 9.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game on 54.8% shooting and 46.2% 3-point shooting.
Iowa freshman guard Peyton McCollum is also listed out. Illinois listed Ty Rodgers out on its pregame injury report.
Tipoff between Iowa and Illinois is set for 11 a.m. with the game airing on Fox.
