Iowa (1-0) returns to the floor in a Friday night tilt against Western Illinois (0-1). The Hawkeyes opened with an impressive 101-69 season-opening blowout win over Robert Morris in first-year head coach Ben McCollum’s Iowa debut.

Senior Bennett Stirtz led the way for Iowa with 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting. The preseason Naismith Trophy watch list member also added six assists, four steals and one block in his first game as a Hawkeye.

Senior Tavion Banks (17), Alvaro Folgueiras (11), Cam Manyawu (10), Isaia Howard (10) and Brendan Hausen (10) all scored in double-figures in Iowa’s opener as well.
