One of the dates on the calendar that Iowa fans look forward to the most is nearly here.
The Hawkeyes are readying for their annual trophy game against the Wisconsin Badgers. Iowa (3-2, 1-1 Big Ten) enters after a Week 6 bye where it watched Wisconsin (2-3, 0-2 Big Ten) hang tough against Michigan for a while, but ultimately fall, 24-10.

Before the Hawkeyes hit the road to Camp Randall Stadium, a lot of the interest will be on whether or not Iowa will have its starting quarterback. Graduate signal-caller Mark Gronowski suffered a left knee injury early in the fourth quarter of the Hawkeyes’ 20-15 loss against Indiana.
Though he warmed on the sideline after entering the medical tent, Gronowski never returned to the Indiana game and the latest reports are that he is “day-to-day.” Meanwhile, Wisconsin squared off against Michigan without its starting quarterback Billy Edwards.
As fans wait and wonder about Gronowski’s status, Iowa shared the first sign that Gronowski could indeed be ready to suit up against the Badgers. The Hawkeyes listed Gronowski atop their Week 7 depth chart to open Wisconsin week.
Iowa and Wisconsin are set for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff with the game airing on FS1. Eric Collins will handle play-by-play alongside color analyst Spencer Tillman.
