The 2025 Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series continues on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
No. 10 Iowa State (10-0) will host in-state rival No. 12 Iowa (9-0) on Wednesday at the Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa. The Hawkeyes lead the all-time series 32-23 and have won eight of the last nine matchups, including the last three.

But the Cyclones enter as the favorite behind junior center Audi Crooks, who leads the nation in scoring with an average of 27.6 points per game. She also has the second-highest field-goal percentage (73.15%). Crooks has double-digit scoring in 77 consecutive games, the longest active streak in NCAA women’s basketball. She’s coming off a 30-point performance in Iowa State’s 52-point win over Northern Illinois on Dec. 7.
Iowa State ranks third in the nation in scoring (95.8 ppg), field-goal percentage (53.18%) and free throws made per game (20).

Crooks will face off in the paint against Iowa sophomore center Ava Heiden, who is having a breakout season while leading the Hawkeyes with 16.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per game through nine games.

“It’s just so fun because they’re two really good and very different post players,” Iowa coach Jan Jensen said on Tuesday. “Ava is more of a (center-forward) where Audi is definitely a (center). Audi’s touch is just really incredible. It always has been… It’s going to be a really good matchup.”
