After an impressive start to the 2025-26 season for No. 20 Iowa women’s basketball (4-0), Hawkeyes senior forward Hannah Stuelke and freshman guard Addie Deal have been named to the Wooden Award Top 50 Watch List, according to an announcement on Tuesday by the Los Angeles Athletic Club.
Stuelke was also named to the preseason Naismith Trophy Watch List, to the Katrina McClain Watch List and to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list. So far this season, the 6-foot-2 Cedar Rapids, Iowa, native is averaging 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game on 63.6% field goal shooting.

As for Deal, the 6-foot true freshman from Irvine, Calif., is averaging 6.0 points, 3.0 assists and 1.5 rebounds per game on 34.8% shooting from the floor and 25% from long range.
Deal and Stuelke are among eight other representatives from the Big Ten on the Top 50 list, which includes Michigan‘s Syla Swords and Olivia Olson, Ohio State‘s Jaloni Cambridge, USC‘s Jasmine “Jazzy” Davidson, and UCLA‘s Lauren Betts, Sienna Betts, Kiki Rice, and Gianna Kneepkens.
Selected by a preseason poll of national college basketball experts, the Wooden Award Watch List comprises 50 student-athletes who are frontrunners for the most prestigious honors in college basketball, the Wooden Award All-American Team and the Wooden Award Most Outstanding Player.

Winners of the various Wooden Awards and All-Americans will be honored at the Los Angeles Athletic Club on April 10, 2026.
The Hawkeyes return to action on Thursday, Nov. 20, when they clash against No. 10 Baylor in the WBCA Showcase in Orlando, Fla. The game is set to begin at 8 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
