Iowa women’s basketball star named to Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll

by

As No. 12 Iowa women’s basketball (10-1, 1-0 Big Ten) continues its strong start to the 2025-26 season, Hawkeyes‘ senior forward Hannah Stuelke earned herself a spot on the Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll after her performances against both Iowa State and Lindenwood last week.

Against the Cyclones, Stuelke notched a double-double, scoring 10 points on 5-for-14 shooting to go along with her 15 rebounds, three assists, and one steal in a 37-minute outing.

The 6-foot-2 native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, proceeded to score a season-high 31 points on 13-for-18 field goal shooting in 25 minutes of play against the Lions. Stuelke added six rebounds, three assists, and three steals to her stat line against Lindenwood.

Stuelke will look to repeat her performance against Lindenwood when the Hawkeyes take on defending national champion and No. 1-ranked UConn (10-0) on Saturday, Dec. 20, in the Shark Beauty Women’s Champions Classic at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

That matchup will begin at 12:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on Fox.
