“It’s Embarrassing… I’ll Beat the Hell Out of All of Them”

Bron Breakker isn’t holding back — and he’s ready to shake up WWE’s main event scene by targeting a trend that’s been dominating for years.

Ahead of his WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against CM Punk on Monday Night RAW, Breakker made it clear he’s not just chasing gold — he’s calling out the entire generation that came before him.

In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, Breakker addressed the fact that no WWE champion has been under the age of 30 since Bray Wyatt won the title in 2017 at 29. And he’s not happy about it.

“It’s embarrassing,” Breakker said. “I’m a young guy and we got 80 year-olds… It makes me want to take them all out. Make sure they never come back here, because they’ve already had 20 years to get their point across and they still haven’t gotten it across. I’ll beat the hell out of all of them.”

The second-generation star, son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner, believes he’s not just next in line — he’s built for this on a whole different level.

“This is what I was born to do. This industry runs in me. Like, in my DNA. More than it does with anyone else here and it shows up with my effort and my commitment. Everything that I do is a total package. Presentation, my work. It shows up more prevalent than it does with anyone else, and that’s why I’m in the position that I’m in. Because no one is as committed to this game as me.”

Breakker’s shot at Punk comes at a pivotal time, with the WWE World Heavyweight Title on the line during the first Monday Night RAW of 2026. If he wins, he could become the first champion under 30 in nearly a decade — and possibly signal a generational shift.

Do you think Bron Breakker is ready to carry the torch for WWE’s future? Or is he biting off more than he can chew with CM Punk? Sound off in the comments below.
