The Paris Roubaix winner, and Olympic champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has her sights set on a new challenge on home soil this season: The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
“It will be nine days of racing, and I have to be the best as possible,” the 33 year-old said, as she makes her final preparations before Stage 1 of the Tour.
The 33-year-old Française is a 15-time UCI Elite World Champion in road (1), cyclocross (1), gravel (1), and various mountain bike disciplines (12). She is also the reigning Olympic cross-country mountain bike champion .
Ferrand-Prévot last full season on the road was in 2019 as part of the Canyon-SRAM team. Much has changed since then, not least of which is the professionalism and depth of the women’s peloton. Still, her reintroduction season has been beyond expectations with a third place at Strade Bianche Donne, a second place finish at Tour of Flanders and a resounding win at Paris-Roubaix.
