The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) mourns the loss of Saleh al-Jafarawi, who tragically lost his life earlier this month.
Born in 1997, Saleh was a passionate table tennis player who represented Palestine in international competitions, including the WTT Feeder Doha 2023. Outside of the sport, he was best known for his work as a journalist.
The ITTF extends its deepest condolences to Saleh al-Jafarawi’s family, friends, and the wider Palestinian table tennis community. His commitment to the sport will be deeply missed.
The Federation strongly condemns all violence and expresses its concerns for the safety of all players and all members of the table tennis communities.
