Jack Doherty, an influencer known for bumping into random people in public, doesn’t know why he’s being blamed for his collision with Andrei Arlovski.
The incident sparked a full-out brawl Friday at the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua event at Kaseya Center in Miami. Punches were thrown between Arlovski and Doherty’s crew after the two crossed paths. The exact moment that started the confrontation was not clearly caught on video because Doherty’s live stream lagged.

“All right, so everyone is talking about that Andrei whatever fight we had at the Jake Paul fight,” Doherty said in a video posted Sunday to X. “I did not start that and I don’t know why everyone is putting the blame on me, like, ‘Oh you’re hiding behind your security guard.’ Well, duh. This man walks by me, bumps into my cameraman and throws a kick at us for no reason. Then, my friends stepped in and yeah everything else happened. But like, bro, I’m not trying to fight this guy.”
Doherty, 22, was arrested Nov. 15 for possession of amphetamines and resisting arrest among other charges after police say he refused to move his vehicle from blocking traffic. Doherty was released on $3,500 bail – which he said is enough reason for him to want to keep his nose clean.
“I’m not trying to instigate a fight,” Doherty said. “I’m trying to stay out of trouble. I’m out on bond right now. You think we’re trying to start fights? Hell nah. That guy started the whole thing. You can see it. It’s all on video. I don’t know why everyone’s trying to blame it on me. I was literally just walking by and this guy goes, ‘Boom,’ and then a little karate kick. It lagged when we did that. But you can see I did nothing to start the fight. If you think I started it, I’d love to know in the comments down below how you think I started it because I did nothing. All I tried to do is deescalate the fight and get everyone to stop fricking fighting, because I’m like, ‘We can’t be fighting. I’ve got to stay out of trouble.'”
It’s unclear if any legal ramifications will come out of Friday’s scuffle. Arlovski gave his side of the story in a series of Instagram posts Sunday and pointed his finger at Doherty as to why the brawl started, theorizing the YouTuber wanted some extra views.
