Jackson Chourio injured in NLCS Game 3

by

Brewers spark plug exited in the seventh inning of Thursday’s NLCS Game 3 at Dodger Stadium, hopping off the field and replaced by Blake Perkins.

Chourio, who aggravated a right hamstring injury in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Cubs, appeared to re-injure the muscle while fouling off an 0-2 pitch from Blake Treinen with a runner on second.

Perkins struck out five pitches later, ending a potential rally for the Brewers, who trailed 3-1 at the time and were looking for their first win of the series.
