Jacob Fatu had a pretty great start to 2025 but some fans feel his momentum got derailed after he lost the United States Title and eventually just got taken off WWE television altogether. While his absence continues, his return status has been revealed.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was simply noted that the Samoan Werewolf is expected to make his return to WWE television imminently.
“Jacob Fatu will be back imminently.”
The last time fans saw Jacob Fatu was during the August 29, 2025, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, where he made an appearance and thwarted MFT and ended up helping Sami Zayn beat Solo Sikoa to become the new United States Champion.
During his absence, Jacob Fatu has just been competing in dark matches after Friday Night SmackDown, which many fans feel is an absolute waste of his ability and likely hurt his momentum too.
Nonetheless, since the Samoan Werewolf is expected to make his return to WWE television soon enough, we’ll have to wait and see what WWE has planned for Fatu as fans just want him to be dominant again.
