The January 27 episode of NXT continued their build toward the February 3 episode. This match also included the long-awaited in-ring return for Jaida Parker after she suffered a shoulder injury months ago.
Miss Parker made her return to NXT last week during the January 13 episode. She didn’t waste any time in getting back to action.
Nikkita Lyons approached Blake Monroe backstage during this week’s episode. She wanted to do Monroe a favor in facing Jaida Parker first. Blake Monroe had no probelm with this, so the match was on.
Fans in the NXT Arena were happy to see Jaida Parker make her in-ring return. She had quite a back-and-forth match with Nikkita Lyons.
In the end, Jaida Parker nailed her finisher on Nikkita Lyons and scored the win. Then Blake Monroe showed up on the big screen and she mocked Parker. She said that nobody takes the spotlight away from her and gets away with it. Monroe promised to see Miss Parker very soon, and she blew her a kiss before ending the video.
