Jaylen Brown leaves final preseason game

Here’s some internet sleuthing of when Brown might have hurt himself.

Entering his tenth season, Brown has looked fantastic in training camp after having knee surgery in early June for a partially torn meniscus. Brown left the game after scoring seven points (2-of-4 from the field, 1-of-3 from behind the arc) with two rebounds and a steal.

Boston opens the 2025-2026 regular season next Wednesday at home against the Philadelphia 76ers.

After the 110-108 win, head coach Joe Mazzulla said that he had not gotten a full update from the medical staff, but said, “I think he’ll be ok. I talked to him after and he said he’ll be fine, but I didn’t get a full update.”
