NXT was raided of talent recently, and Je’Von Evans was certainly a big name to join the main roster. It hasn’t taken him very much time at all to shock the WWE Universe.
The February 9 episode of WWE RAW went down at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. The night included a match between Je’Von Evans and the Original El Grande Americano taking on Los Americanos in a tag team match.
As the new El Grande Americano stood at ringside, he watched his stable wrestle a back-and-forth match. Then the final nail was put on the heel luchadors as Je’Von Evans timed a top rope OG Cutter perfectly to stun everyone in Cleveland.
They played the clip at least three more times on replay during RAW. Corey Graves lauded it as one of the greatest things he’s ever seen in a ring. That sentiment was echoed online as plenty of fans posted about the insane spot.
In the end, the OG El Grande Ameicano and Je’Von Evans won the match. This was the great capper after that crazy spot. It also went a bit viral as fans posted about it on social media.
After the match was over, the heels attacked the OG El Grande Americano and Je’Von Evans. It ended as the heels powdered out of the ring after the babyfaces amped themselves up. That was certainly proof that we haven’t seen the last of these teams facing each other.
