With the 2026 Royal Rumble just hours away, Monday Night Raw’s Je’Von Evans is gearing up for the biggest match of his WWE career—and there’s already talk of surprise names he might face in the ring.
During an appearance on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, Evans was asked how he’d react if Chris Jericho made a shocking return to WWE during the Rumble match. Evans couldn’t help but laugh at the idea before sharing his honest thoughts.
“Probably, honestly… I don’t know,” he said with a smile. “So honestly, I’m either gonna hear it (Jericho’s theme) and just be in the middle of the ring and just see if I go to blows with him… Bro, it would be insane. Insane. So I’ve never met him, but, like I said, growing up watching him…. It would be insane.”
Jericho, who hasn’t appeared in AEW since April 2025, fueled speculation last December when asked about a WWE return by replying, “You never know.”
While nothing has been confirmed, the thought of Je’Von Evans standing toe-to-toe with one of his childhood heroes on one of the biggest stages in wrestling is now on the minds of fans everywhere.
