India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Jitesh Sharma escaped a dismissal in a crazy manner during the second T20I of the five-match series against the South Africa National Cricket Team.
The Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh was the host to the second match of the series between India and South Africa on Thursday, December 11.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star, Jitesh Sharma, has become India’s first-choice wicketkeeper-batsman in T20I following the exit of Sanju Samson from the playing XI.

He possesses exceptional hitting ability and is known for his batting prowess in the death overs. Jitesh Sharma has been slotted in the lower order by the team to make full utilisation of his excellent strokeplay.
The right-handed batter has also played some good knocks for the team. Meanwhile, he was part of a freak moment during the second match between India and South Africa.
On the second ball of the 15th over, Ottneil Baartman bowled a length delivery on off-stump to Jitesh Sharma, who tried to smash the ball, but missed it completely. The ball kissed the bail, rolled it over, but it didn’t fall, and the batter survived.
