Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt released his top 10 rankings after an entertaining Week 8. With a major upset and a top 10 matchup, Klatt switched up multiple teams in his college football rankings.
Georgia moved up two spots to the No. 6 spot in his rankings. The Bulldogs are “hard to kill” as described by Kirby Smart and Joel Klatt. In their last 12 games against Power Four opponents, Georgia has had a halftime lead twice, but the Bulldogs are 9-3 in those games.

Georgia had to come back again this week. Against Ole Miss, who dropped out of the rankings, Georgia was losing 21-20 at halftime and 35-26 entering the fourth quarter, but the Bulldogs clamped down on defense, and the offense kept humming along to win it 43-35.
The Texas Tech Red Raiders also drop out of the rankings after losing against the Arizona State Sun Devils, who won the Big 12 last year. Their fourth quarter was extremely painful, with the Red Raiders coming back from down 19-7 (in the quarter) to take a 22-19 lead with 2 minutes left. However the Sun Devils had the last laugh, driving 75 yards to score a touchdown and win 26-22.
Vanderbilt (No. 10) and Georgia Tech (No. 7) become members of Joel Klatt’s rankings because of this. Vanderbilt defeated LSU 31-24, while Georgia Tech becomes the best team in the ACC after Miami’s loss to Louisville. The Hurricanes drop down five spots too.
