Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt released another top 15 rankings ahead of the 12-team College Football Playoff. He didn’t update anyone of the top four teams, and he shook around some spots from rankings No. 5-10. Rankings No. 11-15 saw some new teams enter the rankings.
With no changes in the top four, that means the Georgia Bulldogs (10-1, 7-1 in SEC) are still the top team in the SEC according to Joel Klatt. He received a lot of flack for putting Georgia above Texas A&M (11-0), with the Aggies slated to make the SEC championship and Georgia not controlling their own destiny in that regard, but Klatt still believes in it.

Last week didn’t do a lot to change his beliefs about Georgia, with the Bulldogs dominating Charlotte 35-3. The running game put up five touchdowns, and the defense had two interceptions, two sacks, and three tackles for loss.
He introduced some new teams from No. 11-15. Miami (No. 14, 9-2) and Vanderbilt (No. 15, 9-2) join the party, and USC (8-3) and Utah (9-2) drop out. USC’s loss to Oregon (No. 5, 10-1) effectively eliminates them from the playoffs, while Utah allowed 47 points to lowly Kansas State (5-6), despite winning.
Rivalry Week could easily shake up his rankings. Nine of his top 10 teams go on the road, with Oklahoma (9-2), being the only team to stay at home. No. 1 Ohio State (11-0) goes on the road vs. No. 12 Michigan (9-2), No. 4 Texas A&M (11-0) travels to face No. 13 Texas (8-3), No. 3 Georgia faces Georgia Tech (9-2) in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and No. 10 Alabama (9-2) goes in a voodoo matchup against Auburn (5-6) at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
