John Cena’s a major part of pop culture in general, which is why there are countless memes based on him. This includes the iconic prank call featuring the Leader of Cenation and now Cena has finally revealed whether he’s ever checked it out.
During a Q&A session at FAN EXPO Denver, the former Undisputed WWE Champion was asked if he had seen the prank call videos about him. Cena explained that he had watched them many times and found them very funny, especially the one where someone keeps calling and people shout his name.
“You mean the one where the guy keeps calling and everybody goes, ‘It’s John Cena!’ Is that the one? Yes, I have. Once — a million times. I’ve seen it a million times. It’s quite funny.”
In the aforementioned prank call, a man would constantly call up unsuspecting people and always blast John Cena’s music as the caller would shout John Cena would compete at “WWE Super Slam.” It came to a point where everyone got incredibly irritated at the prank caller and cussed him out.
John Cena’s ability to laugh with fans about one of the internet’s most famous wrestling jokes is one reason he’s still so loved. From wrestling matches to viral videos, his name and theme music are known all over the world and so people are just glad Cena actually loves the prank call as well.
