Johnston girls basketball star Jenica Lewis has been named a McDonald’s All-American.
Rosters were announced Feb. 2 for this year’s game, which will be played March 31 in Phoenix.
Lewis, a Notre Dame recruit, will play for Team East in the event. The senior is averaging 21.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game for the Dragons, who were 16-0 entering Monday.

ESPN ranks Lewis as the No. 24 player nationally in the 2026 recruiting class.
Iowa Hawkeyes recruit McKenna Woliczko will play for Team West. Each team has 12 players.
Lewis collected 24 Division I scholarship offers before she ever played a minute of high school basketball. In August, she announced her top five schools: Iowa, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon and TCU. She announced her Notre Dame commitment on Nov. 6.
Lewis helped the Dragons to a runner-up finish in the state tournament as a freshman, and she led her team to back-to-back, undefeated state titles in 2024 and 2025.
