Harlequins second row Jonny Green has signed his first senior contract at the Prem Rugby club.

The 21-year-old is the third Quins academy graduate to put pen-to-paper this season, following centre Ben Waghorn and back row Zach Carr in committing his immediate future to The Stoop.

Green joined the London-based club’s academy in 2022 and has represented Wales at under-18, under-19 and under-20 level.

He has made six first-team appearances for Quins in the Prem so far.

“I’m really happy to be extending my future with the club,” Green told the club website., external

“Now I’m wanting to establish myself as a player that can be competitive within the squad.

“Harlequins were the club I grew up watching. When I was in school, it was a huge goal of mine to play to play for Quins and to sign my first senior contract is a very proud moment.”
