LAWRENCE — The Division I transfer portal window for college football is open from Jan. 2 through Jan. 16, and that means Monday represents another opportunity for the Kansas football program to build its future roster.
On Sunday, the Jayhawks added four commitments. On the defensive side of the ball, there was UAB defensive tackle Eamon Smalls and Kentucky linebacker Landyn Watson. On the offensive side of the ball, there was Colorado State running back Jalen Dupree and Texas offensive lineman Connor Stroh.

There was also the news Sunday, that redshirt sophomore cornerback Jameel Croft Jr. revealed where he’ll be continuing his college career after leaving KU. Croft announced his commitment to Charlotte in a social media post on X. Croft appeared in five games this past season and had one tackle.
