“We are proud of the continued growth of the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off, demonstrated once again by an impressive collection of teams that are participating in the fourth-annual event, but also that every game will be nationally televised by ION,” Mark Starsiak, senior vice president at Intersport, said in a release. Intersport owns and operates the event.

“These eight games will prove to be meaningful contests as the season evolves and we’re excited to bring these showcase games to a national audience during Thanksgiving Week.”

The participating teams have combined for 128 total postseason appearances, and Northwestern head coach Joe McKeown ranks among the winningest NCAA Division I coaches with 777 career victories.

Indiana plays Tennessee in the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.

For Missouri head coach Kellie Harper, the Tip-Off will be a return to Fort Myers after she appeared in the event with Tennessee when she was the Lady Vols’ head coach in 2023. The Tip-Off will be an early opportunity to see how the Tigers perform under Harper, who was hired as the new head coach in March.

The complete event schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
