Kaue Fernandes’ leg kicks had Harry Hardwick wheeled out at UFC Fight Night 258.
Fernandes (11-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) unleashed a barrage of leg kicks on Hardwick (13-4-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), who had a hard time staying on his feet. Fernandes chopped away at both legs, which led to Hardwick falling and rolling on the ground in agony. That prompted the referee to waive the fight off at the 3:21 mark of Round 1 in their lightweight bout Saturday from Accor Arena in Paris.

Fernandes was originally scheduled to face Fares Ziam who was replaced by Hardwick on less than a weeks’ notice. The Brazilian Nova Uniao fighter has now won three in a row.
