TNA Wrestling and NXT have a great partnership, and this week saw a big piece of storyline momentum. That being said, Kelani Jordan wasn’t too happy about it.
November 4’s WWE NXT was quite an episode. With Gold Rush coming up in two weeks, anything is possible. The TNA Wrestling Knockouts Title will be defended at Gold Rush, whether Kelani Jordan likes it or not.
This week on NXT, TNA Knockouts Champion Kelani Jordan spoke in a backstage promo. She said she would not defend her title at NXT Gold Rush. The event is in two weeks at The Theater in Madison Square Garden.
Later in the show, Kelani Jordan faced Tyra Mae Steele in a singles match. Jordan won the match, but that wasn’t all.
After the match, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella appeared on the big screen. He announced that Jordan will defend the TNA Knockouts World Championship at NXT Gold Rush. The match will be a Triple Threat, and her opponents will be Lei Ying Lee and Jordynne Grace.
We will have to see what happens at Gold Rush, but this is certainly not going the way Kelani Jordan would have wanted. Only time will tell if we see a title change in New York City.
What’s your take on this triple threat match at Gold Rush? Do you believe that we will see a title change? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
