The India National Cricket Team and Rajasthan Royals player Nitish Rana has been the centre of talks ever since he indulged in a fiery battle of words with Digvesh Rathi in the Delhi Premier League (DPL) Eliminator clash, and now, after everything has been kept aside, his former teammates take a jab at the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) bowler, adding fuel to the controversy.
Nitish Rana’s fiery exchange with Digvesh Rathi has emerged as the biggest talking point in the last few days. However, since Rana has been playing the game for so many years now and has more friends than Rathi, his social media post caught more attention.
Several of Rana’s former teammates came in to make stinging remarks on the spinner for having fought with Rana, while some also lauded him for giving a befitting reply with a six.

Nitish Rana blames Rathi for instigating the fight
Nitish Rana opened up on the ugly altercation with spinner Digvesh Rathi, stressing the fact that Rathi had provoked him, and he chose to answer with the bat instead. He admitted to not remaining silent if he is provoked.
“It’s not about who’s right or wrong; he came to win the match for his team, and I came to win for mine. But respecting the game of cricket is my responsibility, and it’s his as well. He was the one who started it,” said Nitish Rana during a media interaction after the Qualifier 2 win over East Delhi Riders.
