Sebastian Korda can be like a big wave surfer when he’s firing all cylinders. Drop in and ride.
On Saturday in Delray Beach, the American shredded his way past Flavio Cobolli 7-6(1), 6-1 in 76 minutes.
“It’s been a lot of fun,” Korda said of his eighth win of the 2026 season. “For the last month I’ve been playing some really good tennis, just happy to play in South Florida in the humidity. It’s hot, and that’s what I grew up in – feels like home.”
Korda reaches his tenth career ATP final and his second at Delray Beach. He reached the title match in 2021 before falling to Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz.

There wasn’t much Cobolli could do as Korda gripped and ripped from his baseline and won 34 of 56 baseline points and five of six rallies that lasted nine strokes or more.
Korda never faced a break point and sailed through the first set tiebreak, playing the defensive point of the match to take a 5-1 lead at the changeover, and smashing a wickedly angled forehand crosscourt winner to bring up five set points. The 25-year-old finished by reeling off the final six points of the set, and he coasted from there.
Cobolli held to start the second set, but the 23-year-old World No.20 would not get another game.
Korda, who improves to 3-0 vs Cobolli and 10-2 at the Delray Beach Open, will face the winner of Tommy Paul’s semifinal with compatriot Learner Tien in Sunday’s final.
