Myah Montgomery scored a game-high 16 points, Riley Neal finished with 15 points and six rebounds, and the Kentucky Wesleyan College women’s basketball team beat Lake Erie 70-46 on Monday in Painesville, Ohio.
Emma Bruwer added 11 points and five boards for the Panthers (9-3, 5-1 G-MAC), who won their fifth straight game.

KWC outscored Lake Erie 21-6 in the second quarter for a 37-21 halftime lead and never trailed after intermission.
Wesleyan shot 38.9% from the field, including 12-of-27 from 3-point distance (44.4%), and converted 2-of-5 foul shots (40%) with 17 turnovers.
Lake Erie (3-9, 2-4), which didn’t have a scorer in double figures, shot 33.3% from the floor, 4-of-16 from long range (25%) and 4-of-10 at the free-throw line (40%) with 30 turnovers.
KWC will play again Thursday when the Panthers host Hillsdale at the Sportscenter.
