Four Panthers scored in double figures, and the Kentucky Wesleyan College women’s basketball team took advantage of turnovers to capture a 66-60 conference win over Ohio Dominican on Thursday in Columbus, Ohio.
Riley Neal scored 13 points and grabbed four rebounds, Myah Montgomery posted 12 points with six rebounds, Emma Bruwer added 11 points with five boards, and Georgia Acompanado tallied 10 points for KWC.

The Panthers (4-2, 1-0 G-MAC) also forced 22 turnovers leading to a 30-10 scoring edge.
KWC, which led 26-22 at halftime, closed the third quarter on a 12-3 run to take a 45-35 advantage. Wesleyan built its lead to 50-35 following Carson Sisk’s three-point play with 7:59 remaining before Ohio Dominican fought back to within 62-58 inside the final minute. However, free throws from Neal and Montgomery helped seal the win.
The Panthers shot 38.2% from the field, including 5-of-20 from 3-point distance (25%), and converted 19-of-27 free throws (70.4%).
Ohio Dominican (3-3, 0-1), led by 16 points apiece from Macy Chapman and Sarah Ochs, shot 42% from the floor, making 6-of-19 3-pointers (31.6%), and sank 12-of-15 foul shots (80%).
