No. 22 Tennessee (10-3, 2-0 SEC) defeated Auburn (11-5, 0-2 SEC), 73-56, Sunday at Neville Arena in Auburn, Alabama.
The Lady Vols led, 41-26, at halftime after outscoring the Tigers, 22-9, in the first quarter.

Talaysia Cooper totaled 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks. She converted 7-of-12 field goal attempts, 2-of-4 three-point attempts and 2-of-2 free throw attempts for Tennessee, which overcame a season-high 25 turnovers. Cooper was one of two Lady Vols to score 10-plus points against Auburn.
Janaiah Barker recorded 17 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and one steal. She converted 6-of-10 field goal attempts and 5-of-6 free throw attempts.
Mya Pauldo scored nine points and converted 3-of-3 three-point attempts, while Mia Pauldo finished with eight points, three assists and two rebounds for the Lady Vols, who outrebounded Auburn, 34-31, in the contest.
Khady Leye scored 14 points for Auburn. She also had six rebounds and one assist.
